On Properties of Rings of m-nomials

Résumé

In this talk, we consider rings of m-nomials arising from row- and column-finite matrices induced by m polynomials over a ring. We first establish a relationship between rings of m-nomials and skew polynomial rings. We then show that skew polynomial rings with an automorphism of finite order can be viewed as a subring of skew polynomial rings with a cyclic permutation. Finally, we discuss the Jacobson radicals and units in rings of m-nomials.
